All good questions. Well, in short, I’m a slightly lost nomad with a passion for travel and hiking that’s seemingly getting out of hand.
After finishing my studies I moved to Spain where I walked, farmed vegetables, walked, worked in a hostel, taught English and then walked a bit more.
In February last year I moved to Vietnam. I spent a month or so wiggling my way from North to South, learning to drive a motorbike as I went. After a short stint in Dalat which involved, amongst other things, helping to set up a hostel and working as a motorbike tour guide, I settled in Ho Chi Minh City for a year or so.
Corona virus has left me stranded in Europe and it hasn’t taken me long to get itchy feet. Recently my thirst for adventure got the better of me and I decided to hike from England to Africa starting in September.
Scott Rambles On is a blog (as you just might have guessed) documenting my experiences and adventures along with all those little things I’ve learned on the way.
